  • being an environmentally-friendly business is one of our top priorities! we consciously limit the overall amount of materials used when packaging our orders, using recycled and/or eco-friendly packing + shipping materials as much as possible. we only include printed instructions with our diy kits upon request in an effort to reduce waste. we also offer + use (up to) 100% recycled cotton cord- each of our listings includes composition + production details ♻️

    contactless pick up is available at 1917a queen street east, toronto, ontario, m4l 1h3 (in the beaches, near queen + woodbine). simply use shop coupon code PICKUP at checkout + we will contact you when your order is ready via etsy message + email (please monitor your junk/spam folder). 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: our order processing time of 1-3 business days applies to all orders. pick up is available 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 with a minimum of 3 hours advance notice + within a 30 minute time window (i.e. 1:00pm - 1:30pm) as selected by you. please await confirmation of requested pick up time before proceeding. if you are unable to pick up within the confirmed window, you will need to reschedule with a minimum of 3 hours advance notice ⏰

  • if you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible- we will do our best to find a suitable solution for your situation! we do not offer exchanges, only refunds for eligible items. 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: we do not offer refunds for diy kits or 5, 10, 25 or 50 meter cord lengths. please contact us within 14 days of delivery to initiate a return. return items must be sent via tracked post + received, in their original condition, within 30 days of the delivery date. as per our policies, the buyer is responsible for return shipping + we require tracking information- otherwise we will not be responsible for delays/non-receipt of the return. refunds provided for items + tax only (not shipping). reach out to us with questions or concerns 💌

    we prepare + ship all of our orders, in the order that they are received, within 1-3 business days (we do not ship on weekends or canadian holidays). this processing time is not included in the estimated transit time for the selected shipping option. we always strive to ship orders as soon as possible, however, the processing time can vary depending on the queue of orders ahead of yours. you will receive an automated shipping confirmation with tracking information via email once your order has shipped ✅

  • we ship with various carriers + select the appropriate carrier by ability to service your address + fastest delivery. the delivery speed depends on the shipping option selected: standard = 5-7 business days, express = 2-3 business days, priority = 1-2 business days (𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: these are estimated times in transit + do not include our processing time of 1-3 business days). we generally use ICS courier within canada + UPS within the united states/international. we also use fedex, canpar + purolator. 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: we no longer ship with canada post + our carriers do not deliver to Post Office (or PO) Boxes- please provide a physical address with your order. we apologize for any inconvenience! contact us with any concerns 🙂

    we ship our orders in the order received within 1-3 business days (our processing time). we always strive to ship orders as soon as possible (sometimes even same-day)- but it depends on our queue. once your order has shipped, the delivery speed depends on the shipping option selected: standard = 4-10 business days, express = 2-3 business days, priority = 1-2 business days (𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: these are *estimated* times in transit + do not include our processing time of 1-3 business days). the ultimate delivery time is based on your location, our location + the aforementioned time in transit. you will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number + estimated delivery date once your order has shipped 📦

  • we do our best to keep all items in stock at all times! that being said, popular items can sell out quickly + we apologize if we do not have an item that you need available. if an item that you're interested in is sold out, the best way to be notified when it is available again is to select the sold out item + enter your email address to be automatically notified once it's back in stock. we do not have a regular restock schedule, but we frequently monitor our inventory + restock when required. that being said, we usually restock bobbiny once a month (or more, depending on the season) + ganxxet less frequently. we announce all of our restocks + shop updates on instagram @theknotshop 🧶

  • 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝: once we have shipped your order, delivery is the carriers responsibility. we cannot control + are not liable for any delays or non-receipt of your order once it is in the hands of the carrier. we offer tracking for all orders + most are handled + received in a timely manner without issue. with any carrier, there is always a possibility of delivery complications + circumstances out of their control. all delivery windows + delivery dates provided by the carrier are solely estimates + cannot be guaranteed. our carriers offer insurance up to $100CAD. we appreciate your understanding + we will always do what we can to help 🤍

  • we do not currently have a physical storefront (yet, anyways!) but hope to in the future! if you would like to sample cords, we have a variety of options available for order in our shop. please click here for our sample options.

  • we do not currently offer wholesale discounts. we have thoroughly considered this option + unfortunately it does not make sense for our small business at this time. we do, however, offer discounts for larger (bulk) orders by way of discounted shipping. our shipping (depending on the destination country + shipping option selected) is a flat fee for the first item + only $1.50CAD for each additional (or add-on) item in an order! for example: (an order within canada + standard shipping) 1 item = $12.00, 2 items = $13.50, 3 items = $15.00 for shipping, etc 👍🏻
